If you join the email list, the website stores your email address so updates about the book can be sent to you. You may request removal at any time.

Amazon link measurement

The website records clicks on Amazon purchase links, including the time, page path, destination, and button used. When you arrive through a labeled marketing link, a click may also include short source, medium, and campaign labels, such as instagram, social, or holiday_gifts. These reports count clicks, not unique visitors or purchases. The website does not receive your Amazon account information or purchase details.

Only letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens are accepted in campaign labels, with a limit of 64 characters per label. This measurement does not store the full page address, referring website address, or a visitor identifier. Campaign labels should describe a marketing channel or campaign and should not contain personal information.

Temporary browser storage

Marketing labels may be kept in this browser tab’s session storage so they can accompany an Amazon click after you move between pages. The labels expire after 30 minutes and are cleared when the tab session ends; they are not renewed by ordinary browsing or clicks. No advertising cookie, cookie user ID, or persistent visitor identifier is created for this measurement. If your browser blocks session storage, purchase links still work.

Abuse prevention

To limit automated requests, the website temporarily stores a hashed form of the network address used for a request. This limit is separate from click reporting and is not saved with individual Amazon clicks. Hosting providers may also process technical request data under their own privacy policies.

Third-party websites

Amazon and other linked services have their own privacy policies. Leaving this website means their terms and privacy practices apply.

Security

Subscriber information is stored in the website’s protected database and is accessible only through the owner dashboard.
